Who Is Loco Pilot

The post of Assistant Loco Pilot is mainly in the Indian railways. It is considered under the metro rail corporation of the country. The post of the pilot is a promotional post and there is direct recruitment. There are 2 types of the pilot, the first one is the Assistant and the second one is Senior. The assistant pilot is directly recruited and then promoted to Senior pilot.

After some years of experience, the loco gets promoted to Crew Controller, Power Controller, Loco Firemen, Loco Supervisor.

Candidates have completed a Diploma in Act Apprentice or ITI Pass or Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile Engineering from a recognized institution from AICTE.

Selection Process

Selection of candidates for Assistant Loco Pilot posts was done on the basis of their performance in the academic record, computer-based test of the first phase (CBT-1), second phase computer-based test (CBT2), computer-based eligibility examination (CBAT). has gone.

Document verification CBT is held for 60 minutes and it has 75 questions, while CBT2 has 150 questions in two parts – Part A and Part B are 90 minutes apart and there are 100 questions while Part B There is a 60-minute period.
